To have better days in front of you and not behind you, let’s first talk about the Law of Reaping and Sowing.
Here’s the definition.
Reap: receive (a reward or benefit) as a consequence of one’s own or other people’s actions.
Sow: plant the seeds
2 Corinthians 9:6: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully willalso reap bountifully.
Keep Better Days in Front and Not Behind
Keeping your better days in front means you’re always striving for your next level of growth.
You’re not sitting in a place of complacency and idleness because it’s the devils playground.
Every day is another day to get better, wiser, and stronger.
How? By engaging in personal development.
Looking inward and focusing on ways to better yourself.
3 Ways to Unlock Better Days Ahead
1. Take full responsibility for what you do or don’t get in life
The principle of sowing and reaping tells us that when you sow you’ll always get a return.
Whether the return is double for your trouble or lacking substance, look in the mirror and determine your measures of input.
Input always equals output.
How much emphasis did you put on your personal development so you could move out of the mental mud of scarcity, fear, and discouragement?
2. It’s not what happens to you but what you DO that changes your future
Are you putting too much emphasis and energy on the things that’s happened to you in the past?
The trick of the enemy is for you to self-sabatoge the abundance God said you can have running over in loads you couldn’t even imagine.
Have you ever prayed for God to give you a better YESTERDAY?
We never pray for a better yesterday, yet we stay stuck in the past reliving all the things that’s happened to us.
Here’s the thing. Your future can change in any direction you so choose.
All you have to do is pick a day and live life moving forward.
3. If you don’t like your crop, become better at handling your winters.
Prepare your harvest.
Personal development. One thing that will always occur in your life is rainy days.
It’ll always rain on your crops. Sometimes it’ll feel like a flood.
Next thing you know, your soil will turn to mud.
It’s up to you to best handle the months when everything looks wrong and you feel unworthy of more.
Prepare yourself in the winter seasons by doing the following:
- determine your top area of need
- create a growth goal
- journal daily your accomplishments
