Procrastination

What is procrastination? Procrastination means to put off intentionally and habitually the doing of something that should be done. If you believe you’re the only one who deals with procrastination, you are heavily mistaking.

While there are those who deal with procrastination at a higher level of “struggle”, it happens to everyone.

Have you heard? There are different styles of procrastination. When you know your style of procrastination, you have a high potential of being proactive to decrease your habits of putting off tasks and enacting solutions.

Which Style of Procrastinator are You?

The Perfectionist

The Perfectionist is overly concerned with reaching a high standard of expectation and achievement. What’s the problem with that? Well, you either, never finish or never start a task. You focus so much time getting things “right” that you actually remain stagnant and under accomplished in the process.

The Dreamer

The Dreamer remains stuck in their ideas, struggling to execute. They have “shiny object syndrome”.

There’s always a new idea that comes to mind, but they dream so much that they forget or even dislike having to execute on their dreams.

The Worrier

The Worrier procrastinates because they’re always thinking “what if”. What if it goes wrong? What if I mess up? What if I don’t succeed?

Very similar to the Dreamer, making decisions rarely happen. They are fearful of the unfamiliar. Not deciding or making decisions is still the Worrier making a decision.
